HISTORY

FORTENOVA has genuine experience with Algerian and South African public service and construction tenders, and successful project management by Fortenova´s MD, has led to explore further business opportunities in Algeria and other North African Countries.

• In 2005, Fortenova´s MD successfully managed the award of a 20 Mio. USD contract for a nationwide aerial locust spraying campaign in a JV with Tassili Airlines Algeria, LPI Intl. Spain and EADS PZL “WARSZAWA –OKECIE” S.A. Poland.
• In 2006 we became exclusive distributor of XPANDA DIY products for Spain and Portugal and are listed providers for the LEROY MERLIN AND AKI group.
• In 2009 we successfully managed the tender contract approval for a military aircraft hangar, to a value of 20 Mio. €, on behalf COBRA INFRAESTRUCTURAS HIDRÁULICAS, S.A. one of the leading Spanish construction company from the A C S group.
• In 2009 we were involved in a Defence Department submarine harbour project, for CYES.S.A. a large Spanish Maritime Constructor to the value of 51 Mio €, which is has been cancelled.
• Other assisted project developments included a public Olympic-style swimming pool in Ben Aknoun, a seaport ocean floor dredging in Oran harbour, and a dam reservoir Zhor in Skikda.
• In 2010 we participated in a construction tender of initially 12, and 2nd phase 48 highway service stations along the new national east-west highway, and our technical offer was highly favoured by the awarding commission of NAFTAL SARL, This tender was cancelled for alteration of work scope and expected be re-issued in the near future.
• A further tender project managed by us for PAMCO INT. a.s. in 2010 was an Airfield lighting systems installation in the south Sahara.
• Since 2010 our trading department is negotiating the supply of large Milk powder quantities for a leading Algerian Dairy Products producer.
• In 2011 we already participated successfully in a selection tender for Aeronorte Transportes Aéros S.A. of Portugal providing a vast array of Airborne services for TASSILI AGRO AERIEN.
• Our new and latest tender participation involves the construction of yet another aircraft hangar for TASSILI AGRO AERIEN.
